Behind-The-Scenes Pix #3: RETURN OF THE JEDI

It's as hot as Tatooine in most of the U.S. this week, including here in Maine. So let's all enjoy it the best we can, following the example of Carrie Fisher and her stunt double on the set of Blue Harvest back in 1982.

  1. Mmmm, nice. Shame Carrie Fisher never did it for me though. Now here's a thought....which Space Babes would you like to see sunning themselves in their smalls? I'd go for Erin Gray and Maren Jensen

  2. Great find! Hmm, they appear to have legs interlocked...LOL, just their feet are touching, but it's the way the shot looks on first glance.

The girl on the farther side: her profile resembles that of Terry Farrell, most famous for being Jadzia Dax on Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. It could be her--Farrell was 20 when Jedi came out, and that girl looks like she is the right age. Farrell was just a model starting out and was probably not the girl in the picture...but it is still a cool photo.

Hope these ladies didn't get sunburned!

    Thanks for posting this!

  3. In case you're interested, the lady with Carrie getting a nice tan is British stuntwoman Tracy Eddon. I met Miss Eddon a few years back at a convention and she was a really nice lady, and pretty hot, too! She also doubled Threepio when he went off the edge of the Sail Barge in Yuma.

  6. I remember a Starlog interview with Fisher before JEDI came talking about her sunbathing in her costume and getting in trouble because she wasn't supposed to have a tan. I was, of course, greatly intrigued by the idea of Princess Leia in a costume small enough to wear sunbathing.

  7. IIRC, Tracy Eddon was also Sophie "Ace" Aldred's stunt double in DOCTOR WHO.

  8. On Tatooine, do you get a twin sun burn? Or would you call it a suns-burn?
